Aripi de lumină

Muzeul Național al Bucovinei vă invită pe 8 septembrie 2022, ora 13, la Muzeul de Istorie, la vernisajul expoziției de pictură Aripi de lumină, semnată de pictorița Margareta Catrinu.

Aproape 90 de lucrări, realizate în diferite perioade de creație ale artistei, vor putea fi văzute până pe 30 octombrie 2022, în Galeria cu Bolți a Muzeului de Istorie.

Grație unei generoase donații realizată de artistă, 45 de lucrări vor rămâne în patrimoniul muzeului. Despre acestea, Constantin-Emil Ursu, directorul muzeului, scrie în catalogul-album ce va fi lansat cu ocazia vernisajului:

„Întâlnirea Margaretei Catrinu cu Muzeul Național al Bucovinei s-a întâmplat abia în vara anului 2021, la Vama, în cadrul taberei de pictură organizată anual de instituția suceveană. Ulterior, coperta catalogului acestui eveniment avea să fie înnobilată cu fragmente dintr-o lucrare semnată de artista clujeană.

Sfârșitul anului 2021 avea să aducă o veste importantă pentru muzeul sucevean: Margareta Catrinu dorea să dăruiască, sub formă de donație, un număr important de opere, lucrate în mai multe etape ale creației sale.

Margareta Catrinu, absolventă a Institutului de Arte Plastice și Decorative „Ion Andreescu” din Cluj-Napoca, ca șefă de promoție, începe să expună din 1975, singură sau în expoziții colective, la Zalău, Cluj-Napoca, București, Bistrița, Târgu Mureș, Bacău, Buzău, Alba Iulia, Iași, Arad, Sibiu. După 1990 va expune la Toulouse și Saint Sever (Franța), Zwole (Olanda) și la Budapesta. Lucrări ale sale se regăsesc în colecții particulare din România, Marea Britanie, Grecia, Franța, Olanda, Italia,  Elveția, Spania, SUA etc.

Prezența doamnei Margareta Catrinu la Suceava, cu o expoziție personală, care constituie de fapt o importantă donație, onorează Muzeul Național al Bucovinei și, fără îndoială, aduce plus valoare colecției sucevene de artă. Iar faptul că acest dar ilustrează perioadele importante de creație nu face decât să mărească importanța acestui nou fond artistic.

Îi mulțumim doamnei Margareta Catrinu pentru generozitatea sa și ne bucurăm că, alături de alți importanți artiști plastici români, a înțeles că Muzeul este instituția care, grație funcțiilor sale, tezaurizează și păstrează cel mai bine, pentru generațiile viitoare, mărturiile materiale ale diverselor epoci.

De asemenea, suntem convinși că și expoziția personală se va bucura de aprecieri și, sigur, va oferi câteva clipe de reflecție vizitatorilor noștri.”
