Museum of Natural Sciences
The museum is located in a building situated in the Central Park of the Suceava Municipality. From the entrance hall, the visitor can look at a small groupage of aquariums as well as at a stall with a large offer consisting of: folders, postcards, other publications of the museum, pottery, ornaments made of semiprecious stones.
Appreciated as a big attraction for the public, the Crystal Hall presents the most beautiful and the most valuable species of flowers existing in the museum heritage.
The leaf prints are special, as well as the fragments of the disappeared animals which complete the image of the evolution of life on earth, during the geological periods.
The second displayed component takes shape by approach to fundamental ecological concepts, referring to: the ecosystem, the main types of terrestrial ecosystemss, the seasonal aspects. The following dioramas are included: ”Herd of wild boars”, ”The brown bear of Bukovina”, ”The belling of the deer”, ”Pack of wolves – in the winter ”. On the exhibition route there are placed monitors and other audio means in order to render the animals presented in dioramas in the nature environment.
The 360° panoramic projections AMONG DINOSAURS, from the marine, forest areas and the woodsides where the dinosaurs lived and the interactive floor are attractions which you shouldn’t miss!
